It really grinds my gears to hear a woman say, “I’m not a feminist, but…” and then make some statement that’s 100% in line with feminist ideologies. If you believe in equal rights, then you are a feminist. Stop apologizing for the term, and stop perpetuating its negative connotations. Educate yourself and start helping others understand that “feminist” is not a dirty word. The beloved Tina Fey is a feminist. So is the equally awesome Amy Poehler. And obvs, Hillary Clinton.
